CVE-2022-41139Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary agent command execution via stored XSS

Published Oct 17, 2022 · Updated May 14, 2025

Stored XSS in MITRE CALDERA before 4.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands on enrolled agents. The Debrief writeGraph function concatenates app.contact.gist into HTML without sanitizing the attribute value. A low-privileged blue user must save a crafted value, and a red user must trigger it in Debrief; command execution is limited to agents in that user's operation.
