Remote code execution in JScript9 on affected Microsoft Windows releases allows remote attackers to execute code through crafted web content. An incorrect JIT optimization in jscript9.dll confuses object types while processing attacker-controlled JavaScript, enabling memory corruption and arbitrary code execution. Exploitation requires the content to be rendered; observed Office delivery also required the user to disable Protected View before a remote template loaded.
