A double-free flaw in Microsoft Excel across affected Office releases allows attackers to execute code through a malformed file. While processing a crafted class attribute, Excel releases the same heap allocation twice, enabling attacker-controlled heap reuse. Exploitation requires an affected Office component to process the file; successful heap grooming yields code execution in that component's context.
