Stored XSS via unsanitized history diff
Published Nov 21, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Kiwi TCMS before 11.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute stored JavaScript through a crafted Test Plan. The history diff_objects function previously rendered attacker-controlled old and new string values without sanitization; the fix applies bleach_input before generating the diff. A user who can create or modify a Test Plan must get a victim to view the resulting history page, enabling UI redressing and disabling history navigation without evidence of server-side code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
