Race condition in Microsoft Windows PPTP on affected Windows 7 and Server 2008 builds allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The PPTP server processes concurrent crafted packets without sufficient synchronization, allowing a timing race to corrupt execution state. An unauthenticated attacker must reach a system configured as a PPTP server and win the nondeterministic race; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code.
