CVE-2022-41025Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unchecked PPTP parameters

Published Jan 26, 2023 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Siretta QUARTZ-GOLD G5.0.1.5-210720-141020 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. DetranCLI passes unchecked PPTP advanced-name parameters to sprintf, which writes them into a fixed 0x100-byte stack buffer. Administrative network CLI access is required; crafted requests can corrupt the stack and execute arbitrary commands on the router.
