Service interruption via oversized sys_Token parameter
Published Apr 16, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Denial of service in D-Link DIR-819 A1 firmware 1.06 allows remote attackers to interrupt router services via a crafted web request. The webproc handler fails while processing an oversized var:sys_Token value; public records do not disclose the underlying faulty operation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a successful request makes the management endpoint return an internal error or stop responding.
