Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized category ID
Published Sep 22, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2025
SQL injection in Online Pet Shop web application 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted category ID. The delete_category handler in classes/Master.php passes the POST id value to a SQL statement without neutralizing embedded SQL syntax. A valid Super Admin session is required to reach the handler; the demonstrated error-based updatexml payload discloses the active database name.
