Authenticated database disclosure via unneutralized category ID
Published Sep 22, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2025
SQL injection in Online Pet Shop Web Application 1.0 allows attackers with Super Administrator access to read database data remotely. The delete_sub_category handler passes the POST id value into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax; an updatexml error payload therefore exposes the database name. A valid Super Administrator PHP session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is database-name disclosure through an error response.
