Unauthenticated denial of service via oversized MAC parameter
Published Oct 27, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025
Heap overflow in Tenda AX1803 firmware 1.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted HTTP request. GetParentControlInfo processes a 1,024-byte mac form value at /goform/GetParentControlInfo without rejecting its excessive length, overflowing heap storage. An unauthenticated network request is sufficient to interrupt the router service; the published evidence demonstrates denial of service, not code execution.
