Restricted data access via PostgreSQL function validation bypass
Published Nov 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
Improper input validation in ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus 14000 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted database data. The generateSQLReport path accepts a crafted query containing a specific PostgreSQL function without properly validating it, bypassing report restrictions. Access to query reports is required, and the resulting impact is limited to data otherwise inaccessible to that account.
