Authentication bypass in Apache Shiro before 1.10.0 allows remote attackers to reach protected application resources through dispatched requests. The root ShiroFilter's once-per-request marker causes later RequestDispatcher forward or include passes to skip the filter chain instead of reevaluating access controls. Exposure requires a Shiro-secured web application that forwards or includes a protected request; the result is unauthorized access to that resource.
