Code execution via unchecked BMP buffer copy

Heap-based buffer overflow in Nikon NIS-Elements Viewer 5.21.00 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a crafted BMP image. The BMP parser copies user-supplied data into a heap buffer without first validating its declared length against the destination. Exploitation requires a user to open the image or visit a page that supplies it, and resulting code runs in the current process.
