Out-of-bounds write in X_B parsing in Ansys SpaceClaim 2022 R1 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a crafted X_B file. The X_B parser fails to validate user-controlled data before writing past the end of an allocated data structure. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the file, and successful execution runs in the current process context.
