CVE-2022-40623Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via tokenless administrative requests

Published Sep 13, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in WAVLINK Quantum D4G firmware M31G3.V5030.200325 allows remote attackers to execute commands through chained flaws. The web administration interface accepts state-changing requests without anti-CSRF tokens, allowing a malicious page to submit them through an administrator session. User interaction with attacker-controlled content is required; chained with a command-injection issue, the forged request enables unauthenticated command execution.
