Unsafe ORB deserialization in IBM SDK Java Technology Edition 7.1.5.18 and earlier and 8.0.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. The Object Request Broker deserializes specially crafted data without adequate safety controls; IBM has not identified the affected class or entry point. Network reachability to an application path that invokes the ORB is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the affected Java process's privileges.
