Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN firmware allows remote attackers to cause a transient service interruption by sending a packet. The closed-source WLAN transmit path reads beyond a packet buffer while sending the packet to the device; Qualcomm has not disclosed the faulty routine or missing bounds operation. No privileges or user interaction are required, and the documented consequence is limited to transient denial of service.
