Administrator database manipulation via unsanitized class ID
Published Nov 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in Student Attendance Management System allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries via a crafted class ID. Admin/createClass.php copies the Id query parameter directly into quoted tblclass SELECT and UPDATE statements without validation or parameter binding. Administrator access to the web interface is required; the published time-delay proof of concept demonstrates control of the SELECT query.
