Database compromise via package detail ID injection
Published Sep 26, 2022 · Updated May 21, 2025
SQL injection in Wedding Planner 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the id parameter in package_detail.php. A crafted id containing UNION SELECT changes the intended query and returns database-derived content, as demonstrated by disclosure of the active database name. No authentication is required by the published assessment; consequences are limited to data and database operations available to the application account.
