Unauthenticated database disclosure via injectable id parameter
Published Sep 26, 2022 · Updated May 21, 2025
SQL injection in Wedding Planner 1.0 allows remote attackers to disclose database data via the id parameter in wedding_details.php. The endpoint places the untrusted id value into a SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax; a published UNION SELECT request returns the database name. The client-facing endpoint is reachable without authentication, and demonstrated impact is limited to database-name disclosure; broader effects depend on the application's database privileges.
