Stored script execution via unescaped API keys
Published Dec 26, 2022 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
Stored XSS in Paytium before 4.3.7 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute script in a user's browser. The Live API Key and Test API Key settings accept unsanitized markup and are rendered without output escaping by the Setup Wizard. An administrator must save the payload, and another user must open the Setup Wizard; execution is limited to that user's browser context.
