Authenticated database read and modification via feature editor
Published Sep 26, 2022 · Updated May 21, 2025
SQL injection in Wedding Planner 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through the feature editor. The /admin/feature_edit.php handler incorporates the id query parameter into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, and a UNION payload returns the active database name. Administrative access to the web application is required, and successful exploitation exposes or changes data available to the database account.
