Browser script execution via reflected path payload
Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated May 22, 2025
Reflected XSS in Kae's File Manager 1.4.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted URL. The /kfm/index.php handler reflects an encoded script supplied in path information without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires a user to follow an attacker-controlled link; successful execution can read or alter data available to the application origin.
