Stored script execution via active SVG upload
Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated May 22, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in AjaXplorer 4.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted SVG file. The Source Editor saves script-bearing SVG content, and the external-window viewer serves that file as active browser content without neutralizing its script. An authenticated user must save the file and induce another user to open its URL, causing script execution in the AjaXplorer origin.
