Browser script execution via unneutralized Linked SRs
Published Sep 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in SysAid Help Desk before 22.1.65 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via Linked SRs. The Linked SRs field fails to neutralize attacker-controlled content before rendering it in a web page, allowing injected script to run in the page context. Exploitation requires a user to view the crafted content; the script can read or alter data available to that browser session.
