Database-file disclosure via anonymous repository access

Improper access control in Apache Archiva before 2.2.9 allows remote attackers to read its database file without authentication. Apache has not published the affected request handler or the path-validation and authorization error that exposes the database file. The flaw is reachable only when anonymous repository read access is enabled, which the 2.2.8 quick start documents for the default guest user; the disclosed impact is read-only access to the database file.
