Reflected XSS via crafted barcode link
Published Oct 31, 2022 · Updated May 6, 2025
Reflected XSS in PHP Point Of Sale 19.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser through a crafted barcode link. The barcode generation functionality reflects attacker-controlled link input into a response without sufficient output neutralization; public sources do not identify the parameter or code path. No authentication is required to create the link, but a user must open it before browser-executed script can read or alter data available to that user's session.
