Reset-required denial of service via crafted packets

Improper input validation in MELSEC iQ-R Ethernet firmware 65 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a reset-required service outage. The network-processing path accepts specially crafted packets without adequate validation, but Mitsubishi Electric has not disclosed the affected protocol, message field, or failing operation. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation halts service until the affected module or CPU is reset.
