Missing authorization in ThemeHunk Advance WordPress Search Plugin 1.1.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings. The thaps_form_setting function is exposed through a nopriv AJAX action without the required WordPress capability check. The action requires no WordPress account and permits unauthorized configuration changes; published evidence identifies no broader consequence.
