Administrator script execution via missing nonce validation
Published Apr 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in StellarWP GiveWP 2.25.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via forged requests. The render_dropdown AJAX handler fails to validate a nonce before rendering CSV column names containing script into an administrator's browser. Exploitation requires ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS, a CSV containing JavaScript in its column names, and an administrator who follows a crafted link.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
