Unauthenticated browser script execution via unescaped stored input
Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in BriniA Awesome Filterable Portfolio 1.9.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts. Several plugin functions store user input without sufficient sanitization and later render it without output escaping. No authentication is required to plant content, but script execution requires a user to visit an injected page and is limited to that user’s browser context.
