An out-of-bounds read in Lenovo BIOS on affected models allows local users with elevated privileges to disclose SMM memory. The SMI Set BIOS Password handler reads outside the intended boundary and exposes protected System Management Mode contents. Exploitation requires local access and elevated privileges, and the reported consequence is confined to information disclosure.
