Unauthenticated SQL injection via unneutralized cust_id
Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated May 22, 2025
SQL injection in Online Banking System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries via cust_id in send_funds_action.php. The send_funds_action.php handler fails to neutralize the cust_id value before using it in an SQL command, allowing supplied SQL syntax to change the query. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can expose, modify, or delete banking database records.
