Authenticated command execution via unrestricted JSP upload

Published Jan 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 1, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Rawchen Blog-ssm 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via /uploadFileList. The upload handler accepts a crafted JSP web shell and stores it under the web-accessible /upload/file path without blocking the dangerous file type. A registered account is sufficient to upload and invoke the JSP, which executes commands with the application server's privileges.
