Authenticated script execution via unsanitized callback
Published Dec 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 21, 2025
Cross-site scripting in FeehiCMS 2.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the /cms/notify callback parameter. The backend notify endpoint fails to filter the user-controlled callback value before using it in browser-rendered output. Low-privileged access and a victim who loads the crafted response are required; script execution is confined to the victim's browser context.
