Browser script execution via unneutralized username
Published Dec 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 21, 2025
Cross-site scripting in FeehiCMS 2.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through the admin login username field. The backend accepts a crafted username from a form request and inserts it into a web page without effective output neutralization. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction, and the resulting script runs in another user's browser context.
