Stored XSS via unsanitized service template alias
Published Oct 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Centreon 22.04.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser via service_alias. The Service > Templates workflow stores the service_alias value and later renders it without sufficient output neutralization. A low-privileged user must submit a crafted template alias and a victim must view the affected page, enabling script execution in the victim's Centreon session.
