Unauthenticated group disclosure via unchecked export request
Published Sep 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Netic Group Export for Jira before 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to export all Jira groups through an admin servlet. The plugins/servlet/groupexportforjira/admin/ handler processes a groupexport_download=true request and returns the complete group export without checking authentication or export privileges. No account or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is disclosure of Jira group data without modification or service interruption.
