Improper privilege management in Fortinet FortiNAC allows local users to gain elevated privileges via specially crafted commands. Fortinet has not disclosed the command interface, handler, or authorization error that mishandles those commands. A low-privileged local account is required, and successful exploitation grants elevated appliance privileges without user interaction.
