External file-path control in Fortinet FortiNAC 9.4.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted HTTP request. The unauthenticated keyUpload.jsp endpoint stores the attacker-supplied key archive as config.applianceKey, then configApplianceXml changes to the filesystem root and unzips it, allowing archive entries to overwrite arbitrary files. No credentials or user interaction are required; affected releases are 8.3.7, 8.5.0 through 8.5.4, 8.6.0 through 8.6.5, 8.7.0 through 8.7.6, 8.8.0 through 8.8.11, 9.1.0 through 9.1.7, 9.2.0 through 9.2.5, and 9.4.0, and a cron-file write yields root command execution.
