OS command injection in Fortinet FortiWeb affected releases allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via crafted HTTP requests. The webserver fails to neutralize shell metacharacters in request data before incorporating it into an operating-system command. A privileged FortiWeb account is required, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized code or command execution on the appliance.
