Improper restriction of authentication attempts in Kavita before 0.6.0.3 allows remote attackers to compromise accounts through repeated guesses. AccountController's anonymous account workflows accept repeated guesses and return distinct failures for unknown accounts and invalid tokens. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful guessing compromises the targeted account and its accessible library data.
