CVE-2022-39915

Local information disclosure via implicit intent

Published Dec 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Improper access control in Samsung Calendar allows attackers to read sensitive data through an implicit intent on Android 10 through 13. Calendar sends sensitive data through an implicit intent without restricting delivery to an explicit recipient, allowing another app to receive it. Exploitation requires local execution and user interaction; affected releases precede 11.6.08.0 on Android 10, 12.2.11.3000 on Android 11, 12.3.07.2000 on Android 12, and 12.4.02.0 on Android 13.
