CVE-2022-39914

Local DLNA device disclosure via missing caller check

Published Dec 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Information disclosure in DisplayManagerService on Samsung Mobile Devices before Android 13 allows local users to read connected DLNA device details. DisplayManagerService returns information about connected DLNA devices without a proper caller authorization check. Any process running locally on an affected device can therefore enumerate those devices without the access the service is intended to require.
