Stored script execution via unsanitized settings
Published Nov 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Dean Oakley Photospace Gallery 2.3.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through settings parameters. The update() function stores settings values without sufficient input sanitization, and affected pages render those values without output escaping. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to persist code that executes in a visitor's browser when an injected page is opened.
