CVE-2022-39891

Information disclosure via unchecked PCE boundary

Published Nov 9, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025

Heap overflow in Samsung Editor Lite before 4.0.41.3 allows local users to disclose information while processing audio data. The parse_pce function in libsavsaudio.so reads beyond a heap boundary because parsed input is not checked against the buffer limit. Exploitation requires local access to the application, and the documented consequence is limited to information disclosure.
