Device information disclosure via missing RIL access control
Published Nov 9, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025
Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices Q(10) through S(12) allows local users to access device information through RIL. The IpcRxServiceModeBigDataInfo handler in RIL exposes device information without enforcing the access control required for the request. The attacker must execute locally on an affected device; public records do not identify the exact data fields exposed or any remote path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
