Arbitrary directory deletion via unchecked installation junction

Directory-junction validation failure in Samsung Kies before 2.6.4.22074 allows local users to delete arbitrary directories during installation. The installer accepts its working directory without rejecting a directory junction, causing deletion to follow the junction to an attacker-chosen target. A low-privileged local user must prepare the junction and reach the installation workflow; the demonstrated consequence is directory deletion.
