Credential disclosure via world-readable application logs
Published Sep 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Sensitive information logging in Nokia 1350 OMS R14.2 allows attackers to read cleartext user credentials from local files. The web application writes credentials to /usr/Systems/OTNE_1_14_Master/maintenance/trace/web/.otn.default.log and leaves the file world-readable. Any account able to access the host filesystem can retrieve those credentials, while the published impact is limited to confidentiality.
