Portal credential disclosure via cleartext configuration files
Published Dec 25, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cleartext credential storage in Nokia NFM-T R19.9 allows remote authenticated users to read NFM-T web portal credentials from files. RestUploadManager.xml.DRC stores the credentials without protection under /root and /DEPOT subdirectories. Exploitation requires operating-system authentication and access to either directory; the exposed credentials grant portal access and control of PPS network elements.
